SATs results headlines are looking very positive with Strand exceeding national expectations in all areas. We were extremely proud of how well our Year 6 children achieved, particularly in the headline measure of reading, writing and maths combined: 77% of the children at Strand achieved the 'expected standard' in all three subjects compared to 61% of children nationally and 29% of children at Strand achieved the 'higher standard' compared to 9% of children nationally. So a big ‘congratulations’ to year 6 (or should we say year 7!) for their outstanding effort and commitment, not just in their approach to the tests but in their exemplary attitude to learning throughout their entire four years at Strand. What remarkable Strandites they are! For full details of our SATs results see How Our Children Achieve.
